The Great List January 19, 2013
The week's been crappy. All I can say in a nutshell is that life throws curve balls at you every now and then. I am not in a mind frame to write much, but writing my blog because I made a commitment. So getting straight to the point. I really had to think hard to think of positive things

The Great List January 12, 2013
Two weeks already into 2013. This is my second great list and I am impressed with myself that I am actually continuing with this thing.. Here are some of the highlights of my week-
Betsy over at BetsyLife publishes her great list every Friday, where she notes down all the positive things happening in her life, and be grateful for those. I have often mentioned that I would like to start writing a diary of sorts. But I have not been able to do so. I also started with my happiness project this year, where I jot down a sentence or multiple sentences on things that were the highlight of my day. And I love it so far. Its hard though, for you have a limited space, but totally worth it as it makes you filter out the important from the not so important! :)
I never thought my Great List would start this early in the year, but the following from Betsy's great list from Friday, January 4, 2012, inspired me to start mine
2013 is here! Wishing everyone a very happy, healthy, prosperous, and a delightful new year! Every year people make resolutions! I make them too, but mostly mental resolutions! Since I am active on my blog these days, I thought of writing down whats going on in my head! Writing these down also mean a much higher level of commitment.
We have a new bloggers in town. Miss Vogelsanger is starting a new blog called VOGEL'S HAPPINESS PROJECT. She bought a 5 year journal, which is called "The Happiness Project”. According to description on Amazon, the journal contains quotes for each day. One can reflect on the quote at the top of the page, and jot down just one sentence (perhaps about something good that happened that day). Vogel is starting her journal on January 1, 2013 and plans to go all the way to December 31, 2017 with an intention to appreciate the beauty in both ups and downs.
